Qualico is proud to have submitted a proposal to bring the Portrait Gallery of Canada to Downtown Edmonton. Located across from Edmonton's City Hall in Qualico's Station Lands project, this gallery will be another important addition to Downtown Edmonton's Arts District joining the Winspear Centre, Art Gallery of Alberta, Citadel Theatre, Stanley A. Milner Library and Sir Winston Churchill Square.

The Portrait Gallery of Canada houses the second oldest national portrait collection in the world, and is home to a priceless collection of paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, photographs, films and caricatures. This portrait gallery will entice a wide demographic of visitors and offer unique opportunities for guests to view and understand our nation's complex heritage.
